SHILLONG: The Dorbar Shnong of Qualapatty has debunked a claim of COVID-19 positive person being in and around the place, which has been circulated on social media.
In a statement here, the Dorbar Shnong said that a WhatsApp message has gone viral claiming that a COVID-19 positive person, Sandra Warjri, resides at Block 7, “Kolapati”.
The Dorbar Shnong mentioned that there are only four blocks in Qualapatty and that there is no one by the name of Sandra Warjri.
Stating that the correct spelling is not ‘Kolapati’ but ‘Qualapatty’, the Dorbar Shnong has urged the district administration to take the matter seriously.
