Youth body provides aid to 130 families

SHILLONG: The Seng Samla Shella recently distributed essential commodities to 130 families in Shella.
In a statement issued here, president Kitboklang Shongwan and general secretary Manbhabok Swett, said that there are families who are struggling and who are in need of immediate assistance in view of the lockdown.
The youth organisation urged the residents of Shella to adhere to the government advisory of personal hygiene and social distancing.
The youth organisation also expressed gratitude to the secretaries of 10 Kher (locality) and Sohlap Women Welfare Organisations (SWWO).
