SHILLONG: The apex body of Presbyterian churches in Khasi and Jaintia Hills, the Khasi Jaintia Presbyterian Assembly (KJPA), has asked all churches under it to allow the burial of bodies of their members at the respective church cemeteries in case of any death arising out of COVID-19 in the state.
Maintaining that there is no harm in doing so as per experts, the KJPA, in a statement issued here on Thursday, said that this advisory may be followed in order to avoid unnecessary hardship to its members.
