LPG fraud
Chinmoy Ghosh lodged a complaint that on April 30 around 1.30 pm, one unidentified person who claimed to be working with M/s Longkmie Gas Agency, took the LPG consumer card from him and his three other relatives along with cash Rs 900 and failed to return the card/money, till date.

Burglers steal TV
Ashutosh Kumar lodged a complaint that on April 30 around 2 pm, miscreants broke into his house at Nongkynrih, Laitumkhrah, Shillong and stole one LED TV valued around Rs 1.20 lakh.

One held for stealing cattle
Nikson D Sangma lodged a complaint that on May 3 around 5 am, he found that his ox was missing from his cowshed at Tekmanpara village, West Garo Hills. Following this he alerted the villagers and later, one Bangladeshi national viz., Ali Hussain was caught red-handed along with the stolen ox and handed over to Police, while two others managed to escape.

Lockdown violation
Additional District Magistrate, West Garo Hills, Tura lodged a complaint that on April 29 around 10 pm, one Mahindra Pick-up (ML08 G 6820) driven by Ziad Hussain and accompanied by Aminul Islam and Mukul Hussain, were found unloading vegetables at Rongkhon Songgittal Road, in violation of the order imposed by DC, West Garo Hills.

Bike stolen
Sayed Fazal Ali of Nongrimmaw Block-C, Laitumkhrah lodged a complaint that on April 30, miscreants stole his motorcycle (ML05 L 6457) from near his residence.
