JOWAI: The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), West Jaintia Hills, has informed that the AAY, NFSA (PHH) and Non- NFSA quota of rice and additional AAY & PHH under PMGKAY for the month of May have been released to all wholesalers for doorstep deliver to all fair price shops until May 25.
Meanwhile, rice under OMSS is being released through the fair price shops and is made available to all residents under the concerned fair price shops. The wholesale price is at the rate of Rs 2,890 per quintal and retail price at Rs 29.95 per kg. The Deputy Commissioner has also directed all dealers to display stock position list board at a prominent place and maintain a separate stock and sell register.
