Installation Ceremony
The Rotary Club of Orchid city will hold its 10th installation ceremony on Sunday at 7 pm in the Pinewood Hotel.Deputy Chief Minister Bindo M Lanong will be the chief guest.
General meeting

Golf tournament
The Shillong Golfers Association held a golf tournament at the Shillong Golf Course on July 17 to mark the death anniversary of U Tirot Sing Syiem which witnessed a participation of about 55 golfers.
Body found
The police has informed that one person, Roland Marbaniang (51) was found from Sohra Bus Stand on Thusday after which he was admitted to Shillong Civil Hospital but he expired on Saturday. His body has been kept at the Shillong Civil Hospital Morgue.
Prize Distribution

Accident
A truck (UP38P – 3891) loaded with cement coming from Lumshnong, Jaintia Hills and travelling towards Shillong overturned on a turning at Khappud under Mawryngkneng Block, East Khasi Hills on Friday night.
