Dental college doctor recovers, Assam COVID tally goes up to 329

GUWAHATI: Dr Deepa Deka of Regional Dental College, Guwahati was discharged from Guwahati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) today after she was tested negative for COVID-19 two times. Another woman patient was also released even as Assam’s COVID-19 positive tally went up to 329.

“Something to cheer about amid string of bad news. Dr Deepa Deka of Regional Dental College, Guwahati, infected with #CoronaVirus in line of duty, has been discharged from GMCH after testing negative twice. Another woman patient also relieved, taking the total discharged no to 57,” tweeted Health Minister, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma.
