GUWAHATI: Two localities in Guwahati city – Ajanpir Path at Japorigog and Borbari area have been declared containment zones by Kamrup Metropolitan district administration with immediate effect in view of detection of COVID-19 patients in those areas.
The containment zone at Ajanpir Path is bounded by residence of Nurul Islam to north, Ajanpir Path to south, residence of Md Sadullah to east and residence of Bitupon Bora to west.
The containment zone at Borbari is bounded by Bishnu Nagar Path to north, residence of Benu Sinha to south, residence of Sitangshu Sinha to east and residence of Lakhyanath Patir to west.
Meanwhile, the district administration has withdrawn containment zone restrictions from Fancy Bazar and Fatasil Tinali in view of no further detection of COVID-19 positive case in those areas.
