KVK conducts animal health camp in SGH

TURA: An Animal Health Camp cum Awareness Programme was conducted by KVK, South Garo Hills at Gonggangre village on Saturday.

Under the Health Camp, Foot and Mouth Disease vaccination for cattle and treatment against ear infection, hump sore, parasitic diarrhoea, skin infection and nutritional complications were conducted.

Senior Scientist & Head, Dr A Haribhushan appealed to all participants to bring their livestock for timely vaccination against FMD and other diseases and requested that they consult the department’s expert regarding any kind of diseases and health problems in future.

Subject Matter Specialist- Livestock Production, Dr Rupam Bhattacharjya enlightened the villagers about the health care management of Livestock.
