Another BSL-2 lab comes up in Nagaland to fight COVID-19

GUWAHATI : The BSL-2 lab at Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research (CIHSR), Dimapur in Nagaland  is on the verge of completion teeth to Nagaland’s fight against COVID-19 pandemic.

“The quality of the work will not be compromised because of that it is taking time. The inauguration will be done soon to cater to the needs of our people,” said the Health Minister of Nagaland, S Pangnyu Phom.

CIHSR is a tripartite partnership of Christian Medical College Vellore, Emmanuel Hospital Association (EHA) and the State of Nagaland. The Chief Secretary of the state is the chairperson of the CIHSR society and the Executive Director of EHA is the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
