NEW DELHI: A Delhi court on Wednesday convicted Sukhdev Pehalwan, the third accused in the 2002 sensational Nitish Katara murder case, saying that at the time of the incident he too was “present with convicts Vikas Yadav and Vishal Yadav”, currently serving life term in Tihar Jail.

Pehalwan, whose trial had been separated from those of Vikas and Vishal as he jumped the bail and evaded arrest for quite some time, was convicted by Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) J R Aryan for penal offences of murder, abduction and destruction of evidence. He had been tried separately after his arrest in 2005. (PTI)
