GUWAHATI: As many as 696 new COVID-19 positive cases were detected in Assam on Wednesday in Assam including 423 from Guwahati City alone.
The Health Department has called upon the people to follow precautions very strictly.
Total number of COVID-19 positive cases in Assam has increased to 14032 while 8726 patients have recovered. The number of active cases as on July 8 is 5281. The state so far reported 22 deaths due to COVID-19
