Ri Bhoi DC asks people to adhere to protocols

Nongpoh: Ri Bhoi district Deputy Commissioner RM Kurbah has urged the people of the district to strictly adhere to COVID guidelines.
During a press briefing here on Saturday, the district commissioner said following protocols is the only way to protect themselves since there is no vaccine for COVID-19 yet.
She also informed that the number of positive cases in the district till Saturday is 17, whereas the number of positive cases is rising in the whole state which is a matter of concern.
Urging the people to take precaution, Kurbah gave example of how the staff and doctors of Bethany Hospital and NEIGRIHMS were able to protect themselves from the virus.
