15 new COVID-19 cases detected in Meghalaya today

SHILLONG: Another 15 COVID-19 positive cases were reported in Meghalaya till 4 PM  on Saturday. DHS (MI) Dr Aman war informed that out of the 15 new cases, seven cases were reported in East Khasi Hills, three in West Garo Hills, four in Ri Bhoi and one in South West Garo Hills.

Dr Aman War said that number of active cases in the state has increased to 367  including 314 in East Khasi Hills (BSF 240, Others 60 , Armed Forces 14), Ri Bhoi 35, East Jaintia Hills two , West Garo Hills 11, South West Garo Hills one, South Garo Hills  two, East Garo Hills one and North Garo Hills one.

So far 49 people have recovered  from COVID-19 in the state.
