SHILLONG: The general secretary of Khasi Students’ Union Dima Hasao District Unit, Assam Belovedson Dome passed away on Saturday.
The leaders of the central executive council have sent their condolences to the bereaved family of 26-year-old Dome.
In a press statement issued here, the union said that Dome joined the KSU in 2014 and recalled his courage and zeal to work for the welfare of the community and has never failed to attend any meetings/functions be it in Assam or Shillong.
The union informed that after the current COVID-19 situation calms down, the union will pay their respect to him as per the union’s custom.
