Youth killed in accident

NONGSTOIN: A youth was killed in a road accident at Mawiaban, West Khasi Hills, on Tuesday evening.
The scooty (ML 05 L 4203) driven by Francis Kharlyngdoh, suspected to be around 20 years old, collided with a vehicle while he was on a ride to his village, Urkali. Francis, reportedly, lost control of his two-wheeler and drove it on the wrong side of the road eventually crashing into another vehicle. He was declared brought dead at Nongstoin Civil Hospital.
The vehicle (ML 06 9929) was driven by one S Nongkhar.
The body of the youth was handed over to the family after the police observed all legal formalities.
