SHILLONG: The Khun Hynniewtrep National Awakening Movement (KHNAM) MLA, Adelbert Nongrum, has opined that self-declaring COVID-19 infection by patients is one of the ways to arrest the spread of the disease.
In a statement issued here, the MLA lauded Meban Wahlang for declaring that he is a ( positive patient.
Hoping that the government will do what is necessary for the people and arrange facilities for frontline warriors, he urged people to not panic but to take care of themselves.
