E-symposium on BPO sector in NE

SHILLONG: An e-symposium called the “Emergent North-East India: Strategic and Developmental Imperatives – The BPO Sector” will be hosted by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Centre for Policy Research and Analysis, IIM Shillong on Friday.
The event will deliberate on necessary development discourses for the BPO sector in the North East while underscoring implementation challenges by bringing together government officials, industry leaders, leading BPO practitioners, and other stakeholders of the industry, a statement issued here said. Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma will be the chief guest, while Sanjay Dhotre, Minister of State for HRD, Communication, Electronics & IT, will give the valedictory address besides the participation of various speakers.
