SHILLONG: The District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills has lifted the containment order for the areas in Mawiongrim on Thursday.
In a statement, the district magistrate has said that based on contact tracing status and test reports of high risk contacts from the building of Talas Massar to flower nursery of Block II Mawiongrim and from the building of M R Nongrum to H Marwein and from the house of G Lyngdoh to the house of S Marwein of Block IV Mawiongrim and in view of reports received thereof, the containment order has been lifted.
