City athletes win laurels in international taekwondo c’ship

SHILLONG: The Heroes Taekwondo virtual international championship was organised on August 8-9, 2020 at Thailand. The Self Defence Martial Art Training Centre under East Khasi Hills District Taekwondo Association participated in the championship. 6 Taekwondo athletes, Noamie Ingty, Talungbou Ezra Newmai, Felicia Pamai, Adrian DK Mawthoh, Renreiso  Luiram, Ethan Mark Marbaniang, from the Centre participated in the Online Poomsae Competition. Talungbou Ezra Newmai won Bronze medal (Under-12), Renreiso  Luiram won Bronze medal (Male), Felicia Pamai won Bronze (Under-12) female.
