GUWAHATI: Assam Hills Area Development Minister, Sum Ronghang has tested COVID-19 positive today. Ronghang is the first minister in Assam to get infected with COVID-19 virus.
He is being treated in the intensive care unit (ICU) at a private hospital in Guwahati.
So far, top 26 politicians including one minister, 20 MLAs, 2 MPs in the state have tested positive for COVID-19.
