SHILLONG: The East Khasi Hills District Magistrate, subsequent to the detection of COVID-19 cases/high-risk contacts, has declared the Matri Nawas Building at Jail Road, the houses of Raj Jaiswal and Nabin Chettri in Gopalji Compound at Jhalupara, and the houses of Vishnu Chettri and Dinesh Thapa in Maya Compound at Jhalupara as containment areas.
According to the directive, entry-exit movements have been debarred, except for health authorities and other select officials.
Containment order lifted
Meanwhile, in a separate order, the East Khasi Hills District Magistrate has lifted the containment zone tag form the building of Adentis Lyngdoh, Lawsohtun Block IV (Main Road).
