Rain lashes Rajasthan
Jaipur: Moderate to heavy rainfall was recorded in several parts of Rajasthan in the last 24 hours, a Met department official said on Tuesday.
At 7.9 cm, the maximum rainfall was recorded in Sanchore of Jalore during the period. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is likely to occur in Alwar, Bharatpur, Bundi, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Sawai Madhopur, Tonk, Bikaner, Hanumangarh and Sriganganagar districts in the next 24 hours. Woman stages ‘robbery’
New Delhi: Eyeing her aged husband’s wealth, a 28-year-old woman staged a “robbery” at her north Delhi apartment with the help of her associate following which both of them were arrested, police said on Tuesday.
The accused duo robbed Rs 2.18 lakh and gold jewellery from the flat. The woman also inflicted an injury on herself and tied herself up to mislead both her husband and the investigators, police said. (PTI)

ATM looted in Ghaziabad
Ghaziabad (UP): Burglars barged into an ATM kiosk of a private bank here and stole cash estimated to be several lakhs, police said on Tuesday. The robbery occurred at Sector 11 in Vasundhara colony on Monday night. The thieves have taken away the cash tray after cutting the machine with a gas cutter, police said.
The exact amount stolen will be ascertained after scrutinising the balance sheet of the bank, SP (City) Abhishek Verma told PTI. (PTI)
