GUWAHATI: Eight more persons have died of COVID19 in Assam on Wednesday while 3555 new cases were detected today out of 47744 tests conducted in last 24 hours with positivity rate 7.44%.
On the other hand, 1834 patients were discharged today from COVID care hospitals.
Out of the new cases detected today, 924 are in Kamrup Metropolitan district, 236 in Nagaon district, 213 in Dibrugarh district, 200 in Baksa district.
