MP Ministers seeks prompt Kasab hanging

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Commerce and Industry Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya has urged Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde to ensure that 26/11 Mumbai attack accused Mohammad Ajmal Amir Kasab is hanged at the earliest.

Vijayvargiya in a letter to the Home Minister,said that the Supreme Court’s decision upholding death sentence to Kasab has created an atmosphere of happiness in the country, an official release said.

He however, said that the citizens of the country are apprehensive that Kasab may be kept alive for a long time like Parliament attack accused Afzal Guru for deriving political benefits.

Describing Kasab as the country’s enemy Vijayvargiya said that terrorism knew no religion. He hoped that Kasab will be hanged at the earliest keeping the country’s sentiments in view. (UNI)
