Drug peddler arrested

TURA: South Garo Hills police have arrested a third drug peddler dealing in the narcotic substance Yaba tablets which of late are being smuggled into the region from neighbouring Bangladesh.
Police caught a villager from remote Dilsinggre village under Rongara police station on Wednesday and seized 1701 yaba tablets from his possession.
Three days earlier, two local drug peddlers with a similar amount of the same substance were caught inside Baghmara town as they awaited to sell their consignment.
