Bridge closed for heavy vehicles

MAWKYRWAT: The Assistant Executive Engineer of PWD (Roads), Ranikor Sub-Division, RB Dkhar, has informed that the bridge number 10/1 at Assimgittim on the Mawphlang-Balat-Gomughat-Maheskhola road is no longer safe for plying of heavy vehicles.
The wing wall on the Photkroh bank has been washed away on September 17 night due to heavy rainfall in and around Ranikor area, Dkhar said.
“Restoration works are in progress,” the official added.
