Mawkyrwat PS closed down

MAWKYRWAT: The South West Khasi Hills district administration has temporarily closed down the Mawkyrwat Police Station after one personnel tested positive for COVID-19.
District Surveillance Officer, Dr W Nary, informed that contact tracing is under way, while adding that the Health department will continue to test all the police personnel within the district. With regard to the closed police station, Dr Nary said that the department will sanitise it after 48 hours and the low-risk staff can resume work.
