Shillong: A doctor of the Nazareth Hospital was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly assaulting a female staff of the same hospital. According to police, Dr Golmei Jendum (32) slapped the female staff when she had gone to meet him and repeated the act later when she went to clarify her doubts with another colleague. Subsequently, the matter was reported to the police and the accused was arrested for assaulting and sending threatening text messages to the lady.
