TURA, Nov 18: The District Election Officer of West Garo Hills has provided for 51-South Tura, 52-Rangsakona Assembly Constituencies, with the previous approval of the Election Commission, the list of polling stations specified in the apprehended list for the polling areas or group of voters noted against each constituency.
Further, the draft photo electoral rolls have been prepared for 46-Phulbari, 47-Rajabala, 48-Selsella (ST), 50-North Tura (ST), 51-South Tura (ST), 52-Rangsakona (ST), 56-Gambegre (ST) and 57-Dalu (ST) Assembly Constituencies under West Garo Hills, besides 7-Amlarem (ST) Assembly Constituency in West Jaintia Hills.
The qualifying date for the preparation of the photo electoral roll is January 1, 2021. Claims for inclusion or deletion of names should be lodged by December 15.
