New Delhi: China hoped for a better and closer bilateral relationship with India on its 63rd National Day celebrated here.

Speaking during the celebrations, China’s Ambassador to India Zhang Yan reiterated the growing relationship between the two Asian fast developing economies. “China values the relationship with its neighbor India in all spheres,” the Ambassador said during the celebrations.

Such talks hold meaning considering the ongoing tension along the Arunachal border.

The Union Minister of State for Water Resources and Minority Affairs, Vincent H Pala represented the country at the National Day of China as the Chief Guest. Pala was invited by the Chinese Government to be the Chief Guest at the National Day celebrations here last night.

Pala was received by the Ambassador on his arrival and was escorted to the venue. National anthem of both the countries was played at the beginning of the functions organized by the Chinese Embassy.
