SHILLONG, Dec 22: Reacting to social media posts with regard to the newly-inaugurated ‘Sanbor Shullai Road’, the Dorbar Shnong of Lower Lumparing has clarified that the MLA did not desire to have the road named after him. It was the decision of the executive committee of the Dorbar Shnong, the Dorbar said in a statement.
South Shillong MLA Sanbor Shullai had recently inaugurated the road in Lumparing, which was a much-sought demand of the people in the area for around 40 years.
