Lt Col Bakshi Memorial Football Tournament kicks off

SHILLONG, Jan 13: The 15th Edition of Lt Col Bakshi Memorial Football Tournament Kicked off today on 13 Jan 2021 at Parbung village ofPherzawl District (Manipur). An enthralling opening ceremony organised by the Assam Rifles commenced with hosting of National Flag by village authority chairman. Top 14 teams of the district will be battling it out to win the coveted Cup organized in the memory of Lt Col Rajeev Bakshi, SM (Posthumous), who laid down his life while fighting insurgents in Manipur on 20 Jan 2006.
