SHILLONG: Reverend SK Miller, accused of crime against minors, was on Monday escorted by the police from NEIGRIHMS hospital to the Sadar Police station and will be produced before the court on Tuesday.

Rev Miller’s interrogation was delayed following his hospitalization on the day he was arrested. He was first admitted to the Shillong Civil Hospital on September 28 and was later shifted to NEIGRIHMS.

The 65-year-old priest had reportedly complained of cardiac problems which were found untrue by doctors monitoring his health condition. “After observation and investigation, a medical report was submitted to the Medical Superintendent (MS) of NEIGRIHMS two days ago. In the report it was mentioned that no apparent cardiac problem was found,” sources stated.

The doctors however, stated that Rev Miller is a diabetic.

Rev Miller was recently arrested on various charges including rape, molestation, exploitation and sexual abuse against minors.
