TURA, Feb 11: A body of a middle-aged woman was found in Chandigre village of Dadenggre Civil Sub-Division on Wednesday with police ruling out any foul play.
Police were intimated by the Nokma of Chandigre about the body which was found lying near his (Nokma’s) garden.
The deceased is believed to be a tribal woman aged approximately 55 years.
“A woman officer was deputed for inquiry and all necessary legal formalities have been observed. The body has been sent to Tura Civil Hospital for post-mortem and we have begun the investigation,” said Tura SP MGR Kumar.
