Training on muga farming under way in NGH

TURA, Feb 11: A capacity-building and training programme on Muga farming and grainage is under way for adopted seed rearers at P-3, Seed Station, Rompara in North Garo Hills.
The weeklong training programme, which will conclude on February 13, has been organised by Muga Silkworm Seed Organization, Central Silk Board, Rompara.
Addressing the trainees during the inaugural session as the chief guest, Scientist D & Head Muga Silkworm Seed Organization, CSB, P Borpuzari, dwelt at length about sericulture activities and how trainees could generate employment through muga culture.
