Shillong, Feb 24: The XI beat Vintage United by a massive margin of 66 runs in the 1st semifinal of the 8th Ardhendu Chaudhuri Memorial Invitational Tennis ball cricket tournament on Wednesday. The XI won the toss and elected to bat first. They scored 84 runs in 6 overs. In reply, Vintage United could only score 18 runs in 6 overs. In the other semifinal match, Aparajita beat Royal CC by 5 wickets. Aparajita won the toss and elected to field first. Royal scored 33 runs in 6 overs. In response, Aparajita scored 36 runs in 5.1 overs. The final of the tournament is scheduled on February 25 at 7:00 pm.
