TURA, March 9: The Garo Hills Deficit School Teachers’ and Employees’ Association (GHDSTEA) and the Khasi Jaintia Deficit School Teachers’ and Employees’ Association (KJDSTEA) will hold protest against various unfulfilled demands from Wednesday.
The deficit teachers have resorted to the three-day protest, which they say is the first phase of agitations, from March 10, 11 and 12.
They are of the opinion that more protests will follow after March 12 if the state government continues to not give ear to its demands.
