SWKH’s first tribal devp fund project launched

NONGSTOIN, March 24: The first Tribal Development Fund (TDF) project of South West Khasi Hills was launched at Shngimawlein village, Mawkyrwat, recently. The project is funded by NABARD, while an organisation called NEICORD is implementing the Tribal Development Project at seven villages of Mawkyrwat.
The project aims to promote sustainable participatory livelihood activities and aims at economic boost through sustainable agriculture, social empowerment, improvement of health and women development, in tribal areas of the country.
