Meghalaya 3×3 Challenge concludes

SHILLONG, March 27: Diengkuin and The Girls UCC emerged winners at the Nongpoh edition of the Meghalaya 3×3 Challenge after winning their respective men’s and women’s category finals here on Saturday. In the men’s final, Diengkuin defeated JNDB 13-9 while The Girls UCC clinched their game 12-2 against Sparkle to be adjudged champs. The Meghalaya 3×3 Challenge is organised by Touchline Northeast in Collaboration with Meghalaya AIDS Control Society with affiliation to the Meghalaya Basketball Association. The objective of the tournament is to create awareness on HIV and AIDS, to promote testing, create a BCC towards HIV through sports and promote sporting activities. The tournament covered 4 districts and registered over 300 participants.
