NIT celebrates foundation day

SHILLONG, April 1: The National Institute of Technology, on Thursday celebrated its ‘Institute Day’ at its campus.
The celebration kicked off with the inaugural song and flag hoisting by the institute chairman followed by a speech by the Director, Prof BB Biswal S Bhajanka.
Former Director of NIT, Rourkela Prof SK Sarangi, delivered the extramural speech about implementation of administrative and academic policies across the institutions.
In view of the pandemic situation, the institute was unable to hold the foundation day celebration last year.
