Shillong, April 3: Shillong Cricket Association became champions of the Meghalaya Cricket Association’s U-14 Inter District Tournament 2021 with a 60-run victory in the final against North Garo Hills District Cricket Association in Nongpoh today.
NGH won the toss at the Ri-Bhoi Cricket Ground and made their opponents bat first. A run-a-ball 26 by Rudra Singh Rathore and 23 by Aditya Singh saw SCA make 121/5 in their allotted 20 overs. Dakchakra R Marak claimed 1/16 in four overs. Marak then scored an impressive 37 in the chase but SCA’s bowling was just too strong and NGH were dismissed for 61 in 17 overs.
