180 fresh COVID cases in M’laya

SHILLONG, April 22: The state recorded 180 fresh COVID-19 cases on Thursday, taking the total number of active cases to 1,131.
Out of the 180 new cases, 118 were detected in East Khasi Hills, 31 in West Jaintia Hills, 14 in Ri Bhoi, 10 in East Jaintia Hills, three each in West Khasi Hills and South West Khasi Hills and one in South Garo Hills.
Out of the 1,131 active cases, 811 are in East Khasi Hills, 134 in West Jaintia Hills, 97 in Ri Bhoi, 28 in West Khasi Hills, 32 in East Jaintia Hills, 18 in West Garo Hills, eight in South West Khasi Hills and one each in South Garo Hills, East Garo Hills and North Garo Hills.
The state also recorded 68 recoveries on Wednesday including 53 in East Khasi Hills, 13 in West Jaintia Hills and two in Ri Bhoi.
