‘National Integration Tour’ organised

 SHILLONG: The Assam Rifles has organised a ‘National Integration Tour’ for the students of Tamenglong and Senapati districts of Manipur.

In a statement issued here, the Directorate General of Assam Rifles based in Shillong, said that the tour of the group comprising of 8 boys, 15 girls, 2 teachers and the Assam Rifles officials, was flagged off from Tamenglong on October 29.

They have reached New Delhi on November 2. The group was called on by the President of India, at the Rashtrapati Bhawan on November 3. The other prominent places to be visited by the group includes Jaipur and Agra, before returning back to Manipur on November 13.
