SHILLONG: Stung by the CBI findings, Urban Affairs Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh has decided to clarify her stand at a news briefing on Tuesday afternoon. Lyngdoh, during whose tenure as the Education minister the irregularities took place, earlier refused to comment on the issue. In a letter addressed to the President of Shillong Press Club, the Minister said on Monday that the agenda of the news meet will be “strictly the on-going controversy on the appointment of LP School teachers”. The Minister will also host a post-press-meet lunch for the newsmen.
