SHILLONG: Shillong Lajong FC will play its second away game on Saturday against Mumbai FC in Round 6 of the I-League 2012-13 season, at the Balewadi Stadium, Pune.

Head coach of Shillong Lajong FC, Desmond Bulpin said that playing against Mumbai will be tough and Minchol Son and Ebi Sukore, the two star players of SLFC will not be playing in the match as both of them are injured.

He also mentioned that Boithang Haokip also has a shoulder injury but it is not serious and will likely be on the bench while Shillong lad Eugeneson Lyngdoh will be starting the game along with Samson, who will be playing in the midfield.

18-year-old centre back, Lalrinzuala, of the Shillong Lajong FC Academy will also be featured in the game.

Coach Bulpin said that he is looking forward for his lads to repeat their inaugural game performance.

“I hope the boys will continue to have the fighting spirit in them and give their best the way they did against Mohun Bagan.”

He concluded by saying, “I heard there are many people from the North East who are living in Pune and they never miss Shillong Lajong’s games. We hope to see them supporting us in the stadium against Mumbai FC who is a very good side in the League.”
