Coal truck detected
SI H Khonglah, I/c Umkiang PP, lodged a complaint that on May 23 around noon, during checking at Umkiang, East Jaintia Hills, police detected two coal-laden trucks — one truck (NL-01K-7475) driven by one Aklas Uddin Bharbhuiya and the other (AS-09AC-7011) driven by one Imrunul Hoque — without any challan/GST documents. Further, they had also violated the curfew order. It is reported that the two persons hail from Iongkaluh village, East Jaintia Hills.

Theft
Tommy Suchiang lodged a complaint that on May 22, battery of his Maruti 800 car (ML-04A-7119), which was parked on the roadside near his house at Chutwakhu, Jowai, West Jaintia Hills, was found stolen.
Police received information that unknown miscreant(s) stole one LPG cylinder from the house of HAD Sawian at Lumshyiap, Shillong.

Phone snatched
Rabindra Kumar Nahir lodged a complaint that on May 22 at about 9.30 pm, an unidentified person snatched his mobile phone at Police Bazaar, Shillong.
