An auto-rickshaw ferrying passengers from Polo to Mawlai was involved in a head-on collision with a Maruti Van near FCI at Mawlai Mawroh on Monday morning. Mebarika Rynjah (11, F) to Shillong Civil Hospital. The victim was on her way to school to appear for her exam when the incident occurred.

A Maruti Van travelling towards Sohiong from Shillong was involved in an accident with a Maruti Alto near the Rupang Office at 4th Mile, Upper Shillong on Sunday morning. The injured Bornlang Thabah (25, F) was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.

One Mrs Marbaniang (35) sustained injuries when the Hyundai Santro she was travelling on was hit by a Maruti Alto near the SBI Main Branch, Police Bazaar on Saturday evening. She was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.

In a hit and run case, one Suresh Basfor (32, M) sustained injuries after he was hit by a vehicle near the Umtrew River petrol pump at 13th Mile under Umling Block, Ri-Bhoi on Saturday evening. The injured was shifted to Guwahati Medical College.

A pillion rider sustained injuries after falling off from the motorbike when it skidded at 19th Mile under Umling Block, Ri-Bhoi district on Saturday evening. The injured Mohammed Ajim (24, M) was admitted at Byrnihat PHC.
