Kathmandu, Jul 13 : Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, who was appointed as Prime Minister of the Himalyan nation by President Bidya Devi Bhandari, said he will not take oath of office until office of President revises its notice of appointment issued to him on Tuesday. The notice, which read that Mr Deuba is being appointed in accordance with the Supreme Court’s verdict, ‘fails to disclose’ the article under which he is being made the prime minister, The Himalyan Times reported. After deliberating with legal counsel, Mr Deuba has sent across a message to President Bhandari that he will not take the oath until the error is rectified. On Monday, the Supreme Curt had clarified that Deuba must be appointed the Prime Minister in line with Article 76 (5) of the Constitution. Initially, sweaing-in ceremony was set to be held at 6 pm today.(UNI)
