SHILLONG, July 21: Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik will announce the introduction of National Cadet Corps (NCC) as an elective subject in the UGC course of colleges affiliated to the North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan here on Thursday.
It is worth mentioning here that the University Grants Commission (UGC) has allowed students to take up NCC as an elective subject in colleges.
